It all starts with something called self-awareness. Which in my opinion means that you have the ability to focus on yourself and how your actions, thoughts, or emotions do or don't align with your internal standards or God's truth about you.
You see the better we become at curiously observing ourselves without judgements, the easier it is to spot the lies of the enemy.
The truth is that any area of our lives that we are not glistening with hope, we are believing a lie.
You see if we are living out our God given identity, we already have all that we need. 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old version of ourself that constantly lived without hope has passed away. The new version of ourself that is fully connected to Jesus has come.

And it's going to bring you to a place of transformation! Which we know allows us to test and approve what God's will is- his good, pleasing, and perfect will for our lives (Romans 12:2). Which is so exciting because God's will for our lives means that we were created with and for a purpose. We all have something worth living for and that is Jesus Christ.
