Living Fully Connected

When you get all of your needs met by God you will be free to make choices. You won’t depend on others, money, job. You will repent and trust that he comes first. From here you can choose freely. Doing his will comes with producing the fruits of the spirit. We have to make decisions that go with God. Those are hard, those will lead us and guide us. We have to actively seek to become more like Jesus. Praying for opportunities and tools to help us. This will start to guide us. This is what we pray for. For direction, for people to guide us, for wisdom. In the midst of everything we can pray and give thanks. We can trust that even if there is a curve in the road that God is going to use is. That he is disciplining us. If we are angry God tells us to bring it to him. Lay your heart out to him and tell him how you feel. Invite in his love and invite in what you’re needing from him. We can’t worry about tomorrow, we need to be present in today. Focusing on the ways we can love ourselves and allow that to overflow into others. Who do I need to forgive, who do I need to share something with, who is bothering me?

God brings us peace but it’s by becoming aware of what is blocking it from coming in. It’s our job to fight for peace and have hard conversations, be vulnerable, and share our hearts with others. It’s in the most vulnerable places that love needs to enter into for others to know that the love you’re loving them with truly is from God. To be loved in the areas that you have shame and hide from hits different. Brothers and sisters we need to be vulnerable. We need to share our feelings and allow others to see Jesus in us. We need people to experience the goodness of God and mourn with them in their pain. We need more people who are fully connected to God that are overflowing with his love. We need people to be mission driven. When we have all that we need met by God there is no room for fear, doubt, anger, accusation, jealousy, hate, comparison. When we have all we need met by God we are able to be intentionally focused on him. We need to get in tune with our hearts desires and what he has laid on them and start pursuing them. No matter how insane they seem or how far away they feel they are possible. These are the greater things that Jesus says we can do because what he has already done for us. Jesus calls us his royal priesthood. He tells us how worthy we are for a reason. What if we started believing what we hear with our hearts instead of our logic minds? What if what motivated us didn’t depend on our happiness or worth? What if failure wasn’t a thing? What would your life look like then? What if all of your relationships in your life looked the way you wanted them to look? What if you felt love from people who hurt you? What if those people who hurt you forgave you? What if you were grateful for a huge loss in your life because you saw how God used it? What if you started to love the versions of yourself you hate? What if you weren’t so scared of how others view you? What if you were able to communicate your fears with others? What if you were able to understand why people do the things they do?

Self awareness & emotional health allows us to know who God created us to be. From this identity we will have a better understanding of how we’re feeling. From this identity we can spot the lies and not disassociate or shove pain when it comes. We can break past cycles and feel strength in our biggest weaknesses. We won’t need to copy other people because we will be so in love with who God created us to be. Self awareness allows you to know what’s going on inside of you and repent more often. It is the key to bringing Jesus into your life and allowing his love to transform you. The further we go within ourselves the further we can go with God. It’s a relationship that requires trust, grit, disciple, pain, suffering, healing, growth, joy, and so much love. The goal is to focus on God. Focus on Jesus and understand the cross. It’s to serve him and obey him. It’s to be fully exposed and fully loved.
