Tools for Growing Your Faith

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, I want to encourage you to keep growing in your knowledge of Jesus.
I believe Jesus is the source of the deepest joy, peace, love, and life we can experience.
“Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward.” — 2 John 1:8
This verse has encouraged me throughout my own walk with God. John's message reminds us not to become complacent, but to remain faithful and continue growing in what we know of Jesus.
The more we know Jesus, the more we learn His character, recognize His voice, and understand what it means to follow Him.
So how do we grow?
Read Your Bible
The Bible can feel intimidating when you don't know where to begin. But Scripture gives us a foundation for knowing God, understanding His character, recognizing truth, and being equipped to live faithfully.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16
Jesus also warns us that there will be false teachers and people who claim to speak for God while leading others away from truth.
That's why we shouldn't blindly accept everything we hear—even when someone says, “God told me…” or “The Bible says…”
We can become students of Scripture ourselves.
Not so that we can win arguments, but so that we can know the God the Bible reveals —and to let knowing Him transform the way we live. Scripture gives us the foundation we need to recognize God's character in the rest of life, helping us discern what is truly from Him rather than creating a version of God that simply fits what we want Him to be.
